Red Tent

  • The Healing Society 217 West Maplewood Lane Nashville, TN, 37207 United States (map)

A Red Tent Gathering is a sacred space where participants come together to connect, share, and support each other. It draws inspiration from ancient traditions where women gathered during their menstrual cycles to rest, renew, and nurture one another. Today, Red Tent Gatherings serve as a sanctuary for women* to honour their femininity, express themselves freely, and experience a sense of community and sisterhood.

*all femme identifying persons are welcome in this circle

The main purpose of a Red Tent Gathering is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for women to:

- Share their stories and experiences

- Offer and receive support

- Celebrate milestones and transitions in life

- Engage in self-care practices

- Foster a deep sense of connection and belonging

Discussion can often include topics of sex, fertility, health, and abuse. All stories are to be received with compassion and kept in confidence.

Participants are asked to wear red attire. Light beverages and snacks will be provided but feel free to bring your own. You may also bring any items to add to our altar during the event.

Tickets are $27 for the public and $23 for members of The Healing Society. Simply purchase your ticket here through the Healing Society event page for the Red Tent gathering.
